This publication is the concrete outcome of intense dialogue and debate that took place in 2020, focusing on the key questions emerging from the experience in the field of BoerenBruxselPaysans and the research conducted by Metrolab Brussels, two projects supported by the ERDF (European Regional Development
Fund). This document, the result of a collective forward-looking campaign, is intended for all those who manage the territories on a daily basis,
and for steering public policy in the Brussels metropolitan area in particular. It summarises discussions throughout the cycle, identifies concrete action plans and makes recommendations for the structural deployment of agroecology across regions referred to as the metropolitan food basin.
