Résumé : |
This report describes how BAMB implemented more than 300 electronic Material Passports as a one stop shop for material information. Materials Passports developed in BAMB are sets of data describing defined characteristics of materials in products that give them value for recovery and reuse.
Their aim is to: increase or keep the value of materials, products and components over time; create incentives for suppliers to produce healthy, sustainable & circular materials/building products; support materials choices in Reversible Building Design projects; make it easier for developers, managers & renovators to choose healthy, sustainable & circular building materials; facilitate reversed logistics & take back of products, materials & components.
This is a publication of the European project “Buildings as Material Banks” (BAMB, 9/2015-2/2019, www.bamb2020.eu) coordinated by Brussels Environment, which received funding from the EU Horizon 2020 research & innovation programme
