Résumé : |
In the context of the phasing out of combustion engines in the Brussels Capital Region (BCR), Brussels Environment was commissioned to carry out several studies to assess the impact of this policy. The objective of this study is to estimate the health benefits of the phasing out of combustion engines for people living in the BCR. To this end, health effects such as the number of premature deaths, illnesses and associated costs were calculated for a reference scenario in 2015, and for four scenarios up to 2030, detailed in the report. The report was produced by VITO on the basis of projections by Brussels Environment and modelling by IRCELINE. |
